SAMUELS HISTORY
Samuels Boutique Hotel is built within the walls of a historic landmark since 1860, the very first school built in Saltford.
The original red brick wall and crafted ceiling are present in Samuels Boutique Hotel to this day for guests to admire.
The Origin of "Samuels"
Samuel Bisset - The first local dairy farmer in Ontario to bottle and distribute milk in glass bottles. A Bisset milk bottle can now fetch up to $1000 a piece.
Samuel Platt - The man that discovered salt brine while drilling in search of oil. The Sifto Salt Mine in Goderich is the largest salt mine in the world. The mine is as deep under the lake as the height of the CN Tower.
